If you don’t know where to go for your vacation, we will be free to suggest Boracay and its White Beach. It is the most popular beach in Boracay, but if you are unfamiliar with this place, we have created a little guide that should give you an insight into what Boracay is all about.
White Beach
What attracts people to come and visit White Beach is its beauty, but it is not all about the white sand and teal water. There are also hotels, restaurants night clubs and this place is active all the time. White Beach is perfect for swimming, and those who are just learning to swim will have a blast here because there is no current and the water is getting deeper gradually.
The beach is quiet in the morning and noon and if you want to rest without disturbances, this is the time to go. However, the afternoon is the time when both locals and tourists come to the beach and they start playing sports such as beach volley. Speaking of sports, beach volley is the most popular one in Boracay, but a lot of people play soccer as well.
The sunset is a real spectacle. It makes you forget about all your worries and at that moment, which is around 6:00 p.m.
People are taking out their phones to take photos of the wonderful sight. In the evening a lot of people visit restaurants and bars, but they get empty around midnight with the elderly folks going back to the hotels, and the youngsters hit the nightclubs. The White Beach consists of two parts – the beach itself, then a line of palm trees and the so-called “the path” that passes near buildings, hotels and bars.
Which part of the island is the best for you?
The beach is four kilometers long, and it is not the same at all places. The beach is divided into three sections called stations, and we will help you select the one that suits you best.
1. Station One – Space and Luxury
Station 1 is a part where a lot of luxury resorts are located and a home of Willy’s Rock, one of the islands most famous landmarks. There is no walking path like in the other parts of the beach, which means that the beach itself is wider. The sea is shallow and it seems that you will not reach deep water no matter how far you go. All the clubs are within walking distance.
2. Station Two – The Epicenter
Station 2 is not as luxurious as Station 1, and here all the mid-range resorts are located. The water is still shallow, and since this is the center of the island, the beach will sometimes be crowded. You can expect more people in the afternoon as we have already mentioned.
Furthermore, this area is excellent for all of those who like shopping, whereas the southern part is where a seafood market called D’Talipapa is located. This is the place with the most bars and restaurants as well as three clubs.
3. Station 3 – Nature and Peace
The last section is Station 3, which is known for cheaper hotels. Also the beach is a lot different here and the bottom of the sea becomes steep quickly. It has a lot more greenery, which makes it look peaceful and there aren’t as much people as in Station 2. The best part of Station three is the southern part but when it comes to nightlife, there is one club and several casual bars.
In a nutshell
Boracay has a lot to offer to the people who come here. There is a little bit of everything for everyone, and you will not regret it if you decide to go on a holiday to Boracay and visit the magnificent White Beach.
